SINOPSIS:

James Carter (Chris Tucker), detective de la Policía de Los Angeles, llega a Hong Kong de vacaciones con la intención de visitar a su viejo amigo Lee, inspector jefe de la Policía Real de Hong Kong (Jackie Chan). Pero éste, policía vocacional, sigue cumpliendo con su deber, pese a las protestas de Carter. Al poco, se encuentran con el caso más importante de sus carreras: en la Embajada estadounidense ha explotado una bomba y han muerto dos agentes de aduanas americanos que estaban investigando a una banda de contrabando de dinero que se dedica a producir y poner en circulación millones de dólares en “superbilletes”, billetes falsos de cien dólares de alta calidad. La policía de Hong Kong sospecha que el cerebro del atentado es Ricky Tan (John Lone), el elegante y astuto líder de la Tríada. El caso, para desesperación de Carter, es puesto en manos del inspector Lee. Carter se ve arrastrado a los acontecimientos y teme que se va a quedar sin vacaciones. Para Lee, el asunto es personal: Ricky Tan era el compañero de su padre en la policía de Hong Kong e intervino directamente en la muerte de aquél.

SINOPSIS:
La hija de un cónsul chino es secuestrada y llevada a Estados Unidos. En consecuencia, el jefe de Detectives de La Real Policía de Hong Kong, el Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan), orgullo de la Real Policía de su país, deberá viajar a Los Ángeles para rescatarla. Ya en EEUU el FBI asigna a la búsqueda, al detective James Carter (Chris Tucker), un tipo de mal carácter y bastante arrogante.

Sin Bandera se creó espontáneamente: el mexicano Leonel García tenía la idea de lanzarse como solista, mostraba destreza con la guitarra y la voz, pero su proyecto quedaba congelado en las disqueras. Al mismo tiempo, el argentino Noel Schajris debutó en 1999 como solista con su primer disco Cita en las nubes. Siendo ambos músicos, compositores y cantantes, en el año 2000 descubrieron la fórmula ideal para unir sus talentos y personalidades.

Hubo química inmediata. Los dos querían cantar, pero Noel prefería el piano, y Leonel la guitarra, por lo que en ningún momento hubo choque de intereses, sino una integración de gustos musicales.

En 2001 lanzaron su primer disco Sin Bandera. Su primer éxito fue Entra en mi vida.

Su segundo disco se llamó De viaje, donde incluyeron un tema (Puede ser) que cantan con el grupo Presuntos Implicados (de España). También aparecen Que lloro y Mientes tan bien.

Su tercer y cuarto discos fueron un solo proyecto: Mañana y Pasado fueron grabados al mismo tiempo, y con la misma idea. El último es un álbum de covers (obras de otros autores). Tiene temas de Franco De Vita, Ricardo Montaner, Luis Miguel, Alejandro Sanz, Rosana, Miguel Bosé, Aleks Syntek, John Paul Young, Emmanuel y hasta una versión en español de Serenata rap, de Jovanotti.

El 25 de junio de 2007 la banda anunció su disolución, Leonel García desmintió que la causa de este suceso fuera una pelea.[1]

A fines del 2007 lanzaron Hasta ahora, que es una recopilación de los temas que los llevaron a la cúspide de su carrera, como Te vi venir y Mientes tan bien. Además incluyeron un nuevo single llamado Pero no.

En febrero del 2008 iniciaron su gira despedida por diversos países. Recorrieron Ecuador, Republica Dominicana, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, México, Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos.
